Final sculpture

Meaning
this piece is supposed to resemble a human form abstractly with wire sculpting techniques. My piece is is called “shadow without form.” The piece depicts a shadow casted onto the ground of a man, however there is no form casting that shadow. This is to stress the importance of impact a person has. How even after a person is gone, or long after they committed certain actions, what remains is the impact of those decisions. Someone might not remember what you said or what you did but they will always remember how you made them feel. I believe impact is one of the most important and significant parts of life.
Challenges
I found that the wire was physically very difficult to use. Using such a rigid and unforgiving medium to create a form that should be gentle, fluid and organic. It was definitely difficult. I ended up satisfied with the final product. I was proud of myself that I created something with volume out of metal wire. It might not have been my strongest work but I put my best into it.
