Explanation
What I was attempting to do with this dual diorama is compare the two environments of nature and an urban landscape, and dive into the emotional weight each environment carries and also how each environment relates to one another. In the cityscape I chose muted dull colors to highlight the lack of life and the presence of tension. The white of the lamp post highlighting the life that thrives within the mechanical landscape. In the nature side of the diorama, I used white to represent the life that thrives within the enviornment. However, the black of their eyes and lines on the frame show the harsh life that comes with the natural life.
